Rayleigh is a stunning 16-year-old speckled gray Percheron draft horse. She was rescued from a kill pen in August 2020. From what we know, Rayleigh was a carriage horse from Chicago with serious split hooves. With the amazing work of our farrier and good nutrition, we are able to keep her hooves well maintained.

The first time we saw and heard Rayleigh run across the field, we stopped in our tracks! It was an amazing sight to see that we thankfully were able to partially catch on video. It beautifully captured, what we cannot put into words, the blessing of giving rescues a second chance at happiness! Rayleigh is a strong, loving, and protective “Aunt by Choice” and PPD to baby Levi!
