Hope came from Last Chance Direct Ship which received a group of 70 pregnant mares, stallions, fillies, colts, and donkeys from an owner that passed away.

Once we raised enough funds, we immediately contacted the pen and purchased the only available, pregnant mare left from the herd. The other 2 mommas in the previous posting (black heavy bred mare and mare with colt) were adopted before we raised the funds to purchase them.

Although we were not able to get the specific horses shown, we believe everything happens for a reason and this girl needed us. Hope comes from the same place and group brought in.

After being with us for just over three weeks, Hope has come a long way. Part of her journey has given us our new addition, Mikelle. He gave us quite a scare his first day here, but he bounced back quickly. Hope is an amazing mom. She is very protective and attentive.

We are so blessed with all the help we received in bringing Hope to our home.
